LaMont offers elegant nano-satellite systems engineering and operations solutions. From nano & micro-satellite launch, integration and deployment services to subsystems design and real-time mission Command, Control and Data Handling.

Satellite Deployment & Flight Operations Support

LaMont 's  RM3S   Deployer   was  designed  with  the  purpose  of  deploying  nano  and  micro-satellites  from  the  International  Space  Station.  RM3S  synergizes  legacy  subsystems  in  order  to  execute  reliable  and  precise  deployments .  Satellite  payloads  are  delivered  to  the  ISS  via  the   SpaceX   Dragon,  Orbital ATK Cygnus ,  Sierra Nevada Dream Chaser,   JAXA HTV  or  any  other  ISS visiting  vehicle  as  Unpressurized Cargo.

Orbital Asset Management

At LaMont, we are developing and operating space-borne data and resource acquisition assets, as well as the associated data management infrastructure.  Our facilities are equipped to support the operations, integration and logistical needs of planetary and off-world data acquisition assets.  LaMont's Flight Operations team has generational experience managing and executing real-time operations on the ISS, Space Shuttle, Commercial and Government satellites.
LaMont is well-positioned to meet the needs of the space researcher, battle manager, terrestrial resource manager or commodities specialist.  Our partnerships with industry have enabled us to provide state-of-the-art capabilities in orbit, on the International Space Station and future commercial space vehicles.

              Satellite Deployment Operations

LaMont Aerospace is presently focused on expanding the ISS nano and micro-satellite deployment and operations core capabilities. We are offering launch manifest and deployment services via the ISS.  Via our CASIS User Agreement (UA-2017-251), we have direct manifest access to utilize ISS unique resources.  Satellite packages are extracted from the Dragon trunk or other Visiting Vehicle Unpressurized Payload Pallet via SSRMS/SPDM then maneuvered into the deployment envelope.  Deployments are scheduled for no later than 21 days after vehicle docking, which eliminates long on-orbit loiter times of other deployment systems.  Unpressurized payloads hosted via the RM3S also facilitate the use of a wide variety of propulsion systems which enable longer satellite life spans, more precise pointing, reboost capability, controlled re-entries and orbital altitudes beyond 450km.  Due to our unique configuration, RM3S can beat any Expendable Launch Vehicle and almost any other deployer system for cost per U and capability.
