Mission Critical Services
At LaMont, we know the vital role that we can play in your mission's success. Our flight operations, science and engineering teams are unsurpassed in their ability to generate intuitive, practical solutions to complex problems pre-flight and in real-time. Our goal is to execute the fundamentals with excellence, which produces elegance.
Remote Manipulator Small Satellite System (RM3S)
LaMont is ready to assist you with your satellite development and deployment needs. If you have a satellite designed and ready to fly, we can deploy your satellite in as short as 6-12 months from date of contract signing. We can accommodate your satellite within a 1/2/3/6/12/16/27 or 54U (in development) range via our RM3S deployment system or customize even larger satellites by special request. RM3S can host satellite mass densities between 1 to 8 kg/U, which translates to a maximum satellite mass of 432 kg for a 54U payload. Deployment operations are from the International Space Station at 51.6° inclination and ~400Km orbital altitude. Utilizing a propulsion system can enable higher altitudes, longer orbital life spans, plane changes, precision pointing, reboost and controlled entry's capability. LaMont highly recommends integrating a propulsion system into your spacecraft bus and we specialize in helping you accomplish this, as well as the associated Guidance Navigation & Control operations.
